This wisteria-clad historical hotel is uniquely located by the banks of the River Thames, close to Heathrow and Reading airports.
Originally a coaching inn on the road to Oxford, the Red Lion Hotel has been offering hospitality to guests for over 600 years. Previous notable guests include Charles I and Queen Charlotte. The Red Lion Hotel is a combination of 15th, 16th and 17th century architecture and is furnished with antiques throughout. Privately owned by the Gill family, the hotel offers personal hospitality with friendly and attentive service.
Rooms in the hotel are individually furnished in an English country style, containing period furniture and antique prints and paintings. Many enjoy tranquil river views.

This special package includes strawberries and cream with a half-bottle of champagne. Double rooms are decorated with traditional English fabrics and have king-size Vi-Spring beds. Many rooms overlook the River Thames.
